Yogaheart Yoga Teacher Training – FAQ
The Yogaheart Yoga Teacher Training (YYTT) is a 200-hour certification course designed to be an enjoyable and supportive journey into yoga and teaching.
When is it?
This offering is a 7 month course which includes 8 weekends, once a month that provide 200 hours of yoga training and teaching instruction, culminating in full certification. Program begins November 16, 2019. Weekend dates are posted below.
Who is it for? Who is eligible?
More than one year of experience with yoga is required. Various situations are considered for eligibility. If you are unsure whether you meet the eligibility, you are welcome to request a private meeting to discuss it.
What is required to participate?
We ask that participants are physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy enough to commit to this transformative process.
What certification will I receive?
Upon completion, each new teacher will receive a Yogaheart Yoga Teaching Certificate at the 200-hour level. The Yogaheart Yoga Teacher Training program meets the standardized requirements of Yoga Alliance, and graduates will be eligible to register as a yoga teacher with them. Yoga Alliance is the organization recognized internationally for setting educational and training standards for Yoga. YYTT Certification will enable you to teach yoga in gyms, sports centers, studios, and independently around the world.
What does the tuition?
The cost of YYTT is $3900 + HST
Payment schedules of 2 or 4 equal payments are available.
Do you offer scholarships or financial support?
A limited number of scholarships are made available so that all interested participants have an opportunity to take the training, while also contributing to the program in other ways.
