Pranayama Yoga : Level 3
Description: After having completing the L2 Breath Training, the 3 sections of the breath have now been covered in Level 1, and put together in Level 2 and practiced. In level 2 we familiarized ourselves with Mahat Yoga Pranayam, the full yogic breath.
In level Level 3, the first part of the 5 part breathing technique, the Pancha Sahita will be introduced and then practiced. The Pancha Sahita is a breath technique that can be practiced daily to optimize health and well-being, while it also increases our breath training, while deepening our meditation.
In this 4 session course, each 40 minute class will build progressively. Having an opportunity like this allows us to spend longer on each technique together to really gain the support and container to do the technique fully and derive the benefits. All of these techniques also build meditative focus and concentration, while calming the mind. In level 1, we also learned about the respiratory and immune systems. In level 2, we were introduced to Dinacharya and the Ayurvedic recommendations to start the day and complement your practice. In level 3, we will keep the conversation going.
