Left San Diego at 9pm last Saturday, only to arrive in Halifax Sunday afternoon. After spending the last 3 weeks in the Southern California desert, Cactus flowers blooming in the hot and dry, it was amazing to step off the plane and breathe in the amazing Nova Scotia Spring air. The pink and baby green haze of tiny leaves across the maritime landscape was sweetly welcoming me back, and I have to say I am just so so delighted be back. I have been slowly readjusting and looking forward to the classes starting tonight how wonderful!

May 15-Jun 14 Yoga Classes begin this evening:
Tuesdays & Thursdays
6 pm | Yoga Empower Hour
7:30 pm | Yoga of Awakening

$70 for 2 classes a week. $40 for 1 class a week. $10 drop in per class, or pay-what-you-can*.
Also: $100 for unlimited classes (entitles you to attend all evening both Tuesdays and Thursdays),
or $15 drop in to attend one evening for the full evening, 6 – 9pm.

* pay what you can – refers to the flexibility in payment arrangements. if finances are an obstacle for attendance, please do feel free to let me know what would work for you. some people also choose to pay in installments or on days that coincide with a paycheck.

* there is also a bridge discount. If you cross the bridge to attend, you are welcome to deduct the cost from your contribution.

The schedule has changed, and classes will now begin Tuesday May the 15th. Also, Yoga of Awakening has been added to the schedule!!  Please see the schedule to confirm the new upcoming start date and classes. Apologies to all for any inconvenience as my trip to Southern California has been extended by one week.

It is quite something to be surrounded by California license plates and desert cactus flowers here in Temecula on retreat. Week two began this evening and my time here with Francis and the community is beyond my no expectations. It is hard to describe how fortunate I am to have found myself here with a teacher of what is referred to as the ‘direct path’. That is, the path that points to Sahaja Samadhi, true nature. We all glimpse it at times… like just as we fall asleep every night, and for a brief millisecond between the mind letting go and being asleep is a profound relaxation and freedom and ease. Thats it. It’s not about fixing things, improving one’s outlook, or any such thing, but rather the ease of being that is Happiness itself.

I’ll be on my way back in a week and look forward to sharing some of the sweetest things with all of you in the context of yoga, meditation, and breathing. In the end, why do we do any of what we do?

Happiness. True happiness. It is available. It is possible. It can be found. It can be lived. It is yoga in as it was always meant to be.

Well folks… it was a sweet Spring Yoga session in April. Last night as I locked up the old Parish Hall, I paused and thanked the space. Such a beautiful building.

And now! Packing the last few things for my trip to California! It is hard to believe…

For those who are interested in finding out more about Francis Lucille, you can visit his website and check him out on you tube. If you are interested in participating in online satsang with Francis Lucille, you need to sign in to a website called Meet Up, then join the group called Advaita, and select the event you would like to attend. There is a cost to some events, but some are free.

Also, Adyashanti also offers wonderful online events. His website is www.adyashanti.org and next Wednesday April 25 at 10pm (6pmPST) Adyashanti will be offering a free video webcast where he also takes calls during the program near the end. This all takes place in CafeDharma. Last but not least, you can visit the Library and go back and download free recordings of certain talks Adyashanti has given. These talks are beautiful and quite a gift to have available. See for yourself
